Study on Monitoring Food and Beverage Marketing to Children via TV

A study conducted jointly by the Ministry of Health of Armenia (MOH) and the National Institute of Health (NIH) of the MOH with support from the World Health Organization (WHO), sheds light on the significant exposure of Armenian children to television (TV) advertisements (ads) promoting unhealthy foods. The study showed over 65% of food and beverage product ads viewed on television by children in Armenia do not meet the WHO recommendations on healthy nutrition.
