In September, UNIDO, within the EU-funded “Support to Quality Infrastructure in Armenia” project, continued to help the National Body for Standards and Metrology (NBSM) strengthen its technical capacity, advance legislative reforms, and expand international cooperation — all aimed at aligning Armenia’s metrology system with EU and international best practices.

From equipping laboratories with cutting-edge tools and training specialists on EU legal metrology directives, to conducting mock factory audits and exchanging expertise with European peers, Armenia’s quality infrastructure took several important steps forward.
