About the initiative

On the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of Armenia's accession to the UN and the Day of the RA Diplomat the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia and the UN Office in Armenia are organizing a Model UN Conference.

Who can participate?

Senior undergraduates and master's students in higher educational institutions

When?

The conference will take place during the first week of March 2024.

How to apply?

Please send a CV and a motivational letter of 100-150 words to modelun@mfa.am by January 29, 2024.

Further information concerning the preparatory courses and the Model UN will be provided for selected participants.

Why should you apply? 

The conference will provide an opportunity to gain an understanding of how UN bodies work, discuss agendas and positions of countries around them, and learn how to negotiate in multilateral settings.

An internship opportunity will be offered to students who have demonstrated high activity at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia and the UN Office in Armenia.
