As announced at the UN special session in Cali, Colombia on 31 October 2024, Armenia will lead global biodiversity negotiations, facilitate consensus among the parties, and drive the global agenda for biodiversity conservation. Hosting the event will elevate Armenia’s global profile, positioning it as a regional hub for environmental diplomacy and innovation.
